The working document “School playgrounds, a key space for the full development of children” explains the process of research, documentary review and analysis for the development of the 6 criteria for a good playground that guide the “We transform patios” program of Barcelona City Council. The elaboration of the 6 criteria based on this research was complemented by a process of debate and validation with forty people and expert entities in play, health and child development.
