En aquest capítol, els autors analitzen en profunditat d’un sistema alimentari local potencialment sostenible ubicat a la República Txeca, una granja familiar ecològica, involucrada en el règim d’Agricultura Recolzada per la Comunitat, amb una estructura agrícola tradicional integrada que combina terres de cultiu, pastures i boscos, i un mode altament localitzat tant de producció, com de consum i distribució.
