The document “Demographic challenges: childhood, families and the city” is a demographic reading of the report Key data on childhood and adolescence in Barcelona 2021.
The current population reality poses important demographic and social challenges, such as the gap between desired children and reproductive realities or the importance of building friendlier cities to experience childhood and adolescence. We have presented it in the framework of a seminar on demography organized by the UB.
