Income grows in metropolitan households by almost 6% compared to the previous year. Of course, with new poverty patterns linked to inflation. During the first post-pandemic year, data from the Metropolitan Statistics on Living Conditions (EMCV) 2021-2022 show, in general terms, a rapid recovery in the income of metropolitan households. However, the impact of inflation causes a rise in energy poverty and food vulnerability in households with fewer resources. Furthermore, housing is reaffirmed as a major factor of inequality, mainly affecting people who rent.
