The Survey of Neighbourhood Relations and Coexistence of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (ECAMB) aims to collect information on the state of neighbourhood relations and coexistence in metropolitan ighborhoods. Since 2018, the ECAMB has been carried out biennially, after a first pilot survey carried out in 2017. Neighbourhood relationships based on the closest physical context constitute one of the basic elements of the social fabric of human communities. This report studies coexistence in buildings and neighbourhood stairs, the type of relationships that take place there, from cordiality to friendship, including mutual help, as well as the disagreements that can arise in this coexistence. The adequacy and vitality of the neighbourhoods to accommodate coexistence are also studied.
