La revista Agricultural Systems, ha publicat en el seu volum 175 (octubre 2019) un article dels investigadors de l’IERMB Joan Marull i Manel Pons, juntament amb C. Cattaneo, S. Gingrich, M. González, G. Guzman, A. Watson, J. MacFadyen i E. Tello.
Aquest article té per títol “Comparative Energy-Landscape Integrated Analysis (ELIA) of past and present agroecosystems in North America and Europe from the 1830s to the 2010s” i versa sobre l’evolució socioecològica a llarg termini de les agricultures occidentals de forma comparativa en la interacció entre metabolisme i ecologia del paisatge.
